U.N. at it AGAIN

Another example of the attempted, far-reaching stupidity of the U.N.:

Palms during the Nighttime

Let our hearts not be in the nighttime of isolation without the conviction of the importance of loving Jesus, but in the glory of daytime basking in the love of Jesus and giving back to Him the love we have to give to Him.

It seems appropriate to post pictures of Palms on Palm Sunday. May we all lay down before Jesus the palms which we have to give to Him everyday of our lives. Thank you our Lord for your Love and your Salvation. Bless us during this upcoming Holy Week with the strength to share in your Passion and death as you would have us to do. Help us to truly be your devoted friends and to Console your heart which is so full of love for us, yet is yearning for our love in return.

"Atheist & Agnostic Pro-life League"

It is too bad that they do not believe in God, but it is good that they are pro-life.

About the work of The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform:

“If you want to know how to end abortion, you don't want to miss the message of the Center for Bioethical Reform and its director, Gregg Cunningham. That is why I serve with pleasure on the Board of this fine organization."

Fr. Frank Pavone
Director, Priests for Life
Staten Island, NY

“You are doing the greatest work for the Lord. Don’t worry about the objections you get from those who think your depiction of real aborted babies is out of line. The message has been very successful, and that is what we must rejoice over and be encouraged by."

Fr. Paul B. Marx
OSB, Founder of Human Life International

me or you AND me?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Individualism

Individualism: the supremacy of the single unit, the person alone, viewed apart from those around him; away, removed, separate. In the primary place of consideration stands the one unit by himself. But man is socially oriented; man is made in the image of God. God is the Divine unity of three Persons. Man has a natural tendency towards a similar arrangement of existence, in which he is unified with other men. He is social, not singular. Seen as merely individualistic, man seeks his own ends through the means of taking advantage of the benefits other men may provide to him. All interest in the other can only be seen as a way to further selfish needs or desires and not for the benefit of the other. However, man is oriented towards aiding his brethren and thus seen is not purely individualistic.

never sleep

without a blanket,
on your toes,
or on your jacket,
nor your nose,

stir a racket,
strike a pose,
make a bet,
but don't close,

take a room for let,
bring along a rose,
keep your ticket,
certainly do not lose,

the dream to get,
or the water hose,
which we both met,
so the story goes.

After the Fall

Go on forever,
into the blue,
ride on the leather,
I will miss you.

Or stay on the pew,
and pray for good weather,
instead of the flue,
then hope to get better.

Not by a tether,
nor a strong clue,
can we together,
make it to the zoo.

Hearing a ghost's 'boo,'
in the world of nether,
there only us two,
Go on forever.

This article clearly outlines some of the ways in which the pro-life movement is lacking. Jay makes some relevant points about how to effectively approach the culture.
